PRAGA HUNTING PODIUMS

Praga

Forget Easter eggs, Praga South Africa will be hunting podiums this weekend as they head to Port Elizabeth for the second round of the SA Rotax Max Championship.

Troy van der Laan is full of confidence as he continues to excel in Bambinos. He will be chasing a trophy and going full out to take his first national race win.

Micro Max is continues to be the class to watch, with some spectacular racing being produced in the field. Praga will have four entries in the class.

Mohammed Moerat is having a great 2019 season, but knows full well that he cannot let his guard down for even a second. He will be focused on getting out in front and staying well out of the bumping and barging.

Kyle Beukes is a fast driver who pushes himself and his kart to the limits. If Kyle pulls it all together, he can be expected to be running in the top five of the highly competitive class.

Caleb Cotterell uses his consistency to catch the competition by surprise. He too is capable of running at the front of the field and will be a driver to watch.

Erich Heystek will round out the very competitive Micro Max team. The young driver finished as high up as 5th at the last national and will be looking to repeat and improve on his Cape Town performance.

The “rose” of the team, Taya van der Laan, is ready to show the boys a thing or two in Mini Max. She is adapting well to the class and will be focused on staying out of trouble and claiming a solid point’s haul.

Dane van Heerde will represent the team in Senior Max. His confidence is soaring and he has become accustomed to rubbing shoulders with the front runners. Barring any bad luck, Dane is a “wheel” in for a podium finish.

DD2 driver, Carlo Olivier will miss the PE round, but the team wish him well for his exams.
