PRAGA HIT THE ROAD AGAIN

Praga

It’s has been a busy two weeks for Praga South Africa who, after being home for just a few days, are back on the road to PE. This time, it is for round two the South African Rok Cup, which will be taking place at Celso Scribante Kart Circuit on Saturday 27 April 2019.

Luke Hill leads the Kid Rok championship after claiming all three wins at the last National held at the Vaal Kart Club in March. He will, however, have to keep his wits about him as he faces fierce competition from teammates Goran Gruben and Reagile Mailula.

Gorban currently lies third in the point’s standings, just two points ahead of Reagile. Both drivers will be racing in Port Elizabeth and some action packed racing is expected.

Grayson van Zummeren is enjoying his rookie Kid Rok season and will be looking to not only learn the new track and adapt to the set-up and handling characteristics, but also get into the top six.

The Mini Rok racing has been spectacular this season, with the young drivers really putting on a brilliant display. To show just how competitive the racing has been, three drivers are all tied in first place in the championship. One of these drivers is Praga star, KC Ensor-Smith.

KC heads to PE determined to break the tie and come out on top. His current form certainly makes this a realistic objective.

Luke Hill will be putting in a double shift and will also be competing in Mini Rok. He currently leads the under 10 division of the championship and is lying in an impressive 9th place overall in the complete (and much older) field of drivers.

Thando Malumane continues to grow in the sport and the class. A good set of results in PE could easily elevate him into the top ten in the championship standings.

Jarrod Waberski is focused, determined and ready to tackle OKJ. Whilst he has the pace and the talent to claim the race win, Jarrod knows all too well how quickly it can all go wrong. After being assisted off track by a fellow competitor last time out, Jarrod will be hoping to have just a bit of good luck on his side this time.

Praga have proved to be highly competitive in the Rok Cup and will be going all out to increase their lead in the Kid Rok Constructor’s championship and close the gap in the Mini Rok standings.
