It has been a very successful year for the Northern Regions Rotax Max Praga drivers and they will be reaping the rewards of their labour at the season finale to be held at Zwartkops Raceway on 2 November 2019.
Mohammed Moerat looks set to claim the championship title in Micro Max and deservedly so after finishing every race this season on the podium and claiming 13 out of 15 race wins.
Erich Heystek has driven his heart out this year and is in third place in the points standings. Although most of the championship positions are unlikely to change, Erich will have race hard to open up the 10 point lead he has over fourth place and secure his podium ranking.
Unfortunately, with the completion of the National championship and most of the regional positions already decided, entries are not as high as they have been during the season. As things stand, it appears that Junior and Senior Max may race together.
Dane van Heerde is expected to be one of the front runners in this group. Despite missing two rounds of the championship, Dane is still 5th in the point’s standings and could still make up a position this weekend.
