PRAGA OUT TO WIN

Praga - Keagan Beaumont

A strong Praga contingency will descend on the Vaal Kart Circuit on Saturday 25 May 2019 for the third round of the Northern Regions Rok Cup.

Kid Rok:

Praga currently lead the Kid Rok standings with Luke Hill dominating the class this season with three race wins and three second place finishes.

Luke is joined at the sharp end of the Kid Rok standings by Goran Gruben, who is in fourth place after taking two podium finishes.

Reagile Mailula will be back in action. He took two podiums last time out at VKC and will be looking to claim some solid points.

Keagan Beaumont has also been on the podium this season and has a good set of results to his name. The fact that he is 6th in the current point’s standings is a clear indication of how competitive this class is.

Tyler Repsold is in the thick of the championship action with just five points between him in seventh and Goran in fourth.

Angelo Barchini missed the last round of the championship and will be eager to get back on track.

The regular Kid Rok team will be joined by Troy van der Laan this weekend. Troy normally competes in the Bambino class in the Rotax Max series and will be making his Rok Cup debut.

Mini Rok:

KC Ensor-Smith is 14th in the Mini Rok standings, despite having taken three race wins. He will be looking to continue his good form and to secure the maximum number of points.

Luke Hill will once again be doing double duty and will also be racing in Mini Rok. He currently leads the under 10 division and will be working hard to secure this position.

Ashton Repsold needs just two points to jump two positions in the championship and will be going all out to achieve this.

Dean Berner will be back on track after missing the last round in March.

OKJ:

The team will field four OKJ entries, with Jarrod Waberski leading the charge. Jarrod has some hard work ahead of him following some bad luck in the last two rounds.

Alessio Angelucci will be back on track after a three month break and will be hoping for a solid set of results.

Ayden Hall will also be back in action and will be pushing himself as he continues to gain confidence in the class.

Taya van der Laan will be a welcomed addition to the class. Taya has been competing very successfully in Junior Max this season and this will be her first outing in OKJ.

125GP:

The 125GP “boys” will also be on track this weekend and Praga will put forward two entries in the form of Jaco Nel and David Hollis.

Unlike within many other teams, Praga drivers can often be seen imparting knowledge and offering assistance to fellow teammates. This knowledge sharing within the team has ensured that Praga have prominent positions in the championship standings and will ensure another set of great results this weekend.
